Calling All Veterans: What has been your experience?

Most of this blog is about my husband, who is a Vietnam Veteran, a hero in my book!  I know there are many of you who have had success with the VA system and many of you who have not had success with the VA system.  I am rather eager to learn about both views and maybe with insight from both, we can, together, form some motivated suggestions and performance improvements that can be acted upon.

There have been a few times when both my husband and I have been satisfied with his care.  THEN there are those times which you will also read about that have not been so satisfying.  This is not intended to be a name-calling, finger pointing blog, but rather a tool of gathering information, both good and not-so-good to help fellow veterans and to help the VA system become enlightened and enriched with our ideas for performance and management improvement with medical care and compensations which as far as I'm concerned,  ALL veterans deserve.

I need to know if any of you are game for this and eager enough to help each other.  I know most of you have been and still are committed to your fellow commrades.  There is power in numbers and numbers can make changes.

So give me your story or stories, good or bad and let's see what happens.  I do have expectations of keeping the cursing out of the blogs.  in other words, please NO foul language, it's really not necessary to get your points across.

I am particularly interested in all stories, but especially with Agent Orange and how it's affected your health and how it's been treated through the VA system.  Also,  Hep C and it's effect on you.  Of course, any and all issues can be blogged and responded to.

Well Veterans, step up to the blog and let the typing begin!
